Rather be Vinyl is proud to announce the Sydney launch of "Some men remember music", the new recording from post industrialists Scattered Order. With special guests Astral Skulls, Club Sound Witches, DJ Bura Bura and projections by Colum (Living Science Dept.)
Door - $10
* SCATTERED ORDER * Each of the tracks on "Some men remember music" function as mini narratives around a dreamscape of cathode ray voices – characterisations negotiating their way out. The ‘atmos’ is mysterious; the intent grave but the musical structures are always considered, not gratuitous. This album strives for exponential textures with contrasting rhythm generators – some of them are lo-fi and at other times some are extra lo-fi courtesy of foreign TV networks.
* ASTRAL SKULLS * Melbourne post-punk duo Astral Skulls mix dreams of venturing into outer space with the harsh reality of life on Earth: their pulsing electronics and dissonant guitar squall creates an aura of unreality, probing the mind and the dark corners of imagination.
* CLUB SOUND WITCHES * More profoundly out haunted drone/percussion hypnotics from two of the deepest thinking ton scientists on the Australian underground.
